I have always had a deep respect for animals. Growing up, animals were part of everyday life, and that appreciation stayed with me into adulthood. As I have built and scaled restaurant brands, I have learned that how a company treats the most vulnerable reflects its true culture. Animals, like people, depend on the systems around them.
